Another great time saver at Carpentry Squares

Ordered this as a replacement after stepping on my old one and bending over. He tried to sit up, NG- so #2 wouldn't be on the ground anymore.

An absolute turning point. 10 stars.

I wish I had taken a picture while using it today - it changed the GAME! These holes in the ruler helped my knife stay sharp when cutting drywall. BUY if you love DIY.

Pros
  • Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Straight lines from an amateur who hates drywall

I've never found cutting straight, precise lines on drywall so easy. Accurate to a fraction of an inch. Unless you're a pro, your $20 will pay off the first time. The best drywall product. Thank you for supporting my project

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • New competition is here

Works very well Saves time

The RockRipper works very well and makes precise cuts very quickly. It definitely saved me a lot of time and saved me headaches when cutting drywall. Also worked very well for cutting hard pink foam. Hell, it also works great as a simple T-square for marking plywood cutouts. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So-so

accurate, easy to use and much safer

I never understood how professionals could just lay their knife on a tape measure and measure long distances. I ripped off 106 inch pieces of drywall as I cut off the tip of the finger holding the straight edge. Bought this from Revain while in the ER to stop bleeding. Much safer, much more accurate.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Fits

Essential if you cut a lot of drywall

Great drywall cutting tool. Saves measurement time. If you want to make a larger cut than 24 inches, measure from the bottom and count to cut larger pieces. Cutting a small ripper is a little tricky. Balancing knives and drywall guide holders take some getting used to. If you're using it on a non-factory edge, you'll need to make sure the edge of the drywall is level so the guide doesn't catch on the unevenness of the drywall.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

A square outside of a square!

My first review because I couldn't believe it. A square is just not a square. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until one of the guys at my store brought it to my attention after he kept having to re-cut footage that mysteriously didn't fit. Now we know why. Also, aluminum is not flat. It's wavy because of the beating surgery or something. I have other aluminum angle bars that are perfectly flat. As someone who has worked in quality control I find this embarrassing for QC at Johnson. Thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Best drywall tool Best in carpentry

I never review Revain but this time I couldn't resist. This tool is amazing! 10 stars if that were the case. It cut my drywall guess time in half, simple as that! However, this tool is best used for rip cuts. I used it on 4 x 12 sheets 1/2" drywall and once I got the hang of it it got even better. I started with a stack of 22 sheets, edge to edge against the wall. I needed some sheets in 3 x 12. Grabbed a T-square, stuck a razor blade in the 12" hole and started pounding from right to left. I'm
