Two different styles of etched stainless steel blades in one: course and fine. Two handle positions: Straight for grating straight over food or at 90 ̊ angle for extra support when grating larger amount. Non-slip handle and feet. Reversible storage sheath can also be used to collect grated food. Dishwasher safe.

Rubs plastic into food

I usually love Joseph Joseph so I was very disappointed when this one was so poorly designed. I bought two of these hoping the first one was defective, but the sheaths on both were too tight. With the first one, I couldn't easily remove the cover as there was a large piece of plastic cover inside the grater. When I pulled the sheath out, I ended up scratching my finger and tearing a large chunk out of the sheath. The second (replacement) wrapper was a little looser, but based on my previous…

Throw away all your other graters.

. because this one is better made, easier to use, and more versatile than any I've ever seen. It has two grilling surfaces, one I would call medium and one large to suit most of your needs. Grid faces have a "microplanar" design. VERY sharp and fast cut. This grater comes with a plastic shield that covers the cutting surfaces of the blade when not in use and acts as a "bin" to collect grated material when you're actually grating. Oh my god, must I have taken my 'stupid' pill that day? Because I literally broke the handle. He pressed the button and tried to bend the handle straight down. I took some "elbow grease" but I finally got it. Tiny pieces of plastic and a metal spring flew away, LOL! Meanwhile, the husband sitting here just laughed.
