. because this one is better made, easier to use, and more versatile than any I've ever seen. It has two grilling surfaces, one I would call medium and one large to suit most of your needs. Grid faces have a "microplanar" design. VERY sharp and fast cut. This grater comes with a plastic shield that covers the cutting surfaces of the blade when not in use and acts as a "bin" to collect grated material when you're actually grating. The handle can be used in a line as usual or rotated 90 degrees to allow the grater to be used at an angle and supported at both ends. for the really difficult or tiring portcullises. It's a little difficult to clean. and which grater is not? None of my other graters have seen daylight since I bought this thing. Great kitchen utensil!
