Love how easy it is to use and how it's made from fairly durable material. Makes a great gift for a wine lover. Much better than the rabbit competition.

I love the wine opener. And you just do the same movements and the cork comes out. But four stars means the foil cutter doesn't work very well. Therefore 4 stars.

Okay - I love gadgets and I love wine. Saw this article and saved it for Passover. So we tried it for a few days. The lever wasn't as easy as my bunny. Then, like the 9th bottle we opened, a plastic pin broke and the whole thing fell apart. I am not happy.

I ordered this because Joseph Joseph products are usually of excellent quality. Not so with this article. I was attracted by the compact size and ordered in blue. It broke completely on the first try to use it. The flat chrome PC's lid broke off, he wouldn't open the wine bottle, and the corkscrew bent and then the handle wouldn't let go. Needless to say it was returned but the bottle of wine remained unopened.

At first I can't explain how the foil cutter works. I intend to ask the seller, but for now it remains a mystery. A real corkscrew works well in the sense that it removes the cork, but you need physical strength to accomplish this feat. I am a woman. Not weak, but not human. I don't consider myself particularly strong or weak. However, handling this corkscrew requires serious skill. More than I expected. This is definitely not the corkscrew I bought it with.
