Not impressed for the kitchen and dining room

Bought right after the return period and only used a couple of times. I don't think they are real or stainless steel as they have already started to rust around the screw. I have a $9 pair of Kitchen Aid scissors that I bought 12 years ago that have not rusted. I will be contacting Revain to see if I have any options but what a disappointment at the cost.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Has issues

Dear broken scissors!

The scissors came loose while cutting the rose. The rivet that holds them together has a very small head on one side, so the scissors separated when cutting the stem of the rose. If I can assemble them, they're only good for cutting paper. Incredibly expensive paper scissors! But even then, the blades are a bit short for the paper neat. Wanted to love her, now I hate her!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I'm worried

Shoot down? good for kitchen and dining room

I've been buying these scissors for years and give them away regularly. When I lost mine I looked for it again and couldn't find it anywhere. Then they reappeared on Revane. I noticed that something had changed on the new one. It didn't feel like it and now maybe the last 2 broke with a little pressure. I can only think that they are being crushed or that Joyce Chen's standards have changed. Too expensive for just a few months.

Pros
  • Not just usable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Useless features

The best scissors

For several years we had Joyce Chen scissors with red handles. Despite their relative size, they were our go-to shears for just about any job. They cut almost anything and never dull. Unfortunately they got lost a few months ago so I ordered a new pair with yellow handles (same scissors). We're hoping to find the original pair with red handles, so the yellow handle on the new pair can only tell them apart. They are value for money and I wouldn't mind having a second pair at home.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Previously good quality.

I've been using this brand of scissors for decades (always with a sharp edge) and today I just opened them up at work and clipped the stems of my first bouquet of the day - (I'm a florist) fell apart in your arms My Mgr. ordered new ones for us for Mother's Day and that happened to both couples. (which is why I just opened my purchased pair). It looks like the company has changed hands - the previous one had a lifetime warranty. I want to return these scissors on credit - don't want to try…

Pros
  • Feels great
Cons
  • No mold required

Great scissors! - Scissors

I have Joyce Chen scissors that are at least 15 years old. They still work well and have no rust or stains. I keep them until they fall apart. I decided to buy a fresh pair for kitchen use only. The new ones are perfect. For those who complain that the handles are "stiff," they're firm but will surely flex when you squeeze them. As always, the blades are short. If you need long bladed scissors, then these are not for you. If you're looking for a great pair that can chop herbs, slice chicken, or

Pros

Keeping a long story short! in kitchen and dining room

update 070513 - I have been using these scissors for quite some time. I use them in the garden when we go camping, even when laying laminate - to cut the floor. They are excellent, love them and will be buying more to keep and not always get them. These are the best stationery scissors. I have a separate pair for use in the kitchen and they are particularly good for chopping fresh herbs from my garden to use in cooking. I love these scissors! Used them in the garden for the first time this…
