not suitable for suitcase or popsocket

This is exactly what I was looking for in a car dashboard mount, easy to move, will not damage the dashboard and can be used both vertically and horizontally. But it does not fit phones with a case and/or popsocket! I even moved the popsocket and it still doesn't fit in the case. And it's just a regular Otterbox case, and I don't have a big phone. This only works on the phone, no case or popsocket. i give it back

Bring back the cup holder and you'll have a much better holder!

Love love love this holder! I have a van and ideally the dashboard is to the right of the steering wheel. My husband's truck doesn't have the placement options that I have, so it sits in the center of the dashboard. I love that it rotates and makes it easy to comply with our freehand law. I'm not a big fan of the portrait format, but now that I've gotten used to the landscape format, it's great! I love it when my cup holder comes back!

The product works as advertised.

I was skeptical at first. The binding didn't hold initially, especially after the phone was in it. But when I left it there for a day without a phone, it ended up sticking pretty well. I haven't been seen since then. I like that I can hold my phone both vertically and sideways. It's not in front of a vent so I don't have to worry about it getting too hot or too cold. It's within sight without having to look at your phone. I can safely look at the road from my cell phone and vice versa. In…

Holds the iPhone 11 Pro very well on the dashboard. I can see it comfortably without being distracted or worried about it slipping off or falling out of view. The low profile clamshell body stays in place and automatically closes about 3/4 of an inch when not in use, so it goes virtually unnoticed. Perfect for a horizontal phone holder - better than magnets etc. Holds a huge phone!

My 7-inch Xiaomi Mi Max 3 fits easily in this case, although the dimensions exceed the advertised specifications. In fact, the clam shell design seems so obvious that it's ridiculous that we've struggled with sliding, rotating, wobbly clamps, and questionable magnetic mounts for so long.
