Description of Joyway Thread Conditioning Refrigeration Charging

60 inch hose set color coded in red, yellow, and blue. 600 PSI working pressure and 3000 PSI burst pressure. High pressure provides you with safe and convenience testing for many HVAC systems. The solid brass nuts are deeply knurled for quick finger-tightening, easy to use. A strong six-sided crimp provides a reliable connection between the hose and barb even at maximum pressure. Before use, please connect the blue hose to the low-pressure connector, the red hose to the high-pressure connector, and the yellow hose to the charge/release refrigerant.

A bit disappointed with the quality

I ordered several sets and it looks like one of two suppliers is leaking, it turns out that the seals in two sets are different. We use them on a stand connected to water and test coffee machines. I've been using this guy for years and it's great because it connects quickly. The black seal broke very quickly.

Good Value Tools and Equipment

5 stars for the price and for working great. Please note that all metal parts are made of ferrous metals (not brass) and will therefore rust/discolour. In addition, the union nuts are not "deeply knurled", but still sufficient. 1/4" straight connection on one side and 1/4" elbow with valve depressor on the other side. Works great with 134a. Have a good return.

Failed after first use.

I work on a car air conditioner and am trying to find an inexpensive set of replacement hoses for an old set of gauges. The price was good, it lacked the quality of materials and workmanship, but at this price, expectations weren't too high. I charged the air conditioning on a car and almost immediately the high pressure hose started to fail. Small bubbles began to appear due to poor quality materials or poor crimping.
