Nice to find a notched ball valve, no need to hunt for valves, then adapters, then notches, then pipe strap then you have a chunky valve with numerous potential leak points. Bought for a radiator heater shut off valve for my old dodge military truck. The lack of air conditioning and the 180-degree cabin heat in Arkansas summers will make you want to die. Now the ride has become much more comfortable, it's no longer like riding in the oven. πŸ˜†

This allows you to quickly find a solution if there is a leak in the rear of the van while maintaining roadworthiness. The fit is not good for the 3/4 inch rubber heater hose. The valve falls right out of the house without the clamp. But with a clamp it tightens enough. I'm assuming it's for 3/4" PEX or some other 3/4 standard. Not rubber tubing. Also, the ball valve…
