Great for video conferencing

We do a lot of Webex video conferencing at work. I have a Plantronix headset that I used but it was uncomfortable for long calls. I wanted to use my Bose noise canceling headphones instead, but the headphone jack on my computer doesn't match the microphone jacks. It was the perfect solution for a good price. I use this 5 days a week with Bose headphones and have no problems.

Customer Beware of External Sound Cards

I bought this item to use with a new Toyota Tacoma SR5 truck that has what is known as a USB memory port on the dash. My intention (my hope) was for this to solve Toyota's really stupid decision to remove the wired 3.5mm aux-in port, and I was hoping it would allow me to connect my digital MP3 player and audio heard through my car speakers. This USB connector (with this cable) will only work with an Apple product. Third-party MP3 players like FiiO or Pyle or other non-Apple manufacturers will…

Very little noise (updated)

Update: There was up to a second audio delay for everything including system apps. For example, clicks on the on-screen keyboard were noticeably delayed. But then I tried all 8 of my USB ports and a pair (still USB 2.0 vs 3.0) worked with no lag. So I suspect the latency issues were caused by a lack of powered USB ports. I used the SYBA USB Audio Adapter, also sold here at Revain, and there was a constant hiss. With this adapter, the noise floor is reduced by at least 15 dB. It's still…

Total disaster! on computer components

The phone jack on my new Mac mini is on the back of the computer, so I used it in one of the USB ports. No sound but it actually stopped the video I was watching. I tried it with DVD: same result! Don't send it back, I'll throw it away. Note. In the new Big Sur OS, you can choose the audio output: computer speakers (no!), monitor speakers, or headphone jack. So I'll take a regular short male-to-male phone cord and leave it plugged in. I can then plug my headphones into it if needed and it won't

If it works, it works!

Again and again problems with Bluetooth, connect headphones, use mobile phone as a sound source, with a working laptop. A colleague recommended this particular adapter, the whole family has it and has been using it for several months with no problems. Mine worked great right out of the box, no special drivers, great sound quality even with cheap headphones. Started getting occasional power outages after a few weeks. Tried on different computers and with different headphones, this particular…

For TRRS on USB, this is GREAT!

When I first got my hands on a lavalier mic, I plugged it into the mic-in jack on the front of my computer. Unfortunately, I got a lot of noise and hum. At first I thought it was the microphone, but after researching the internet I found that the microphone inputs on the front panel are often poorly shielded and it is better to connect the microphone to the USB port. The mic had a TRRS connector, so I needed an adapter from TRRS (which stands for Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve, there are 4 connectors) to
