Excellent access point Pi-Star

I have been using this access point for a long time. Setup was easy. I'm thinking of buying more so I can have one for my car when I'm not at home. The installation guide was easy and just a great hotspot.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There is a negative

No duplex - no worries

Like the other reviewer, I couldn't get duplex to work despite having experience with Pi-Star and DMR radios. It just doesn't work in duplex. Don't waste your time. Strongly disappointed.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good access point but on radio antennas

The documentation that came with the device is almost useless. English is so bad, impossible to understand. It took a long time to get working and it wasn't my first hotspot. Once I set it up for DMR it works fine.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • is slowly disappearing

The packaged instructions contained some useful information to ensure certain settings in the Pi-Star were correct for this device. The preinstalled default was already…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Little things
