Unfortunately what I ordered is not what I received, well judging by the picture. The ones in the photo look like the fleece is sewn onto the strap, the ones I received have a piece of fleece that slides over the strap. Which, positively, is easier to clean when needed. I just think the image should be updated to what is actually submitted!

I really like Hobbles, they seem to be of good quality. BUT they do not correspond at all to what is shown in the picture. The fleece liner is not a liner at all, it is a sleeve that must be worn over the entire nylon cuff. Therefore, the holes in the cuff do not go through the fleece portion at all, and it would be difficult to make the holes in the fleece strong, let alone align with the holes in the nylon cuff. The picture is VERY deceptive.

I bought these straps to prevent my horse from honking both on and off the trailer. You are completely useless. The central part of the buckle is not long enough, so it can tip from side to side at the corners. All my horse had to do was lift his leg, pull the nylon strap to one side just enough to unbuckle, and he was free. After accidentally freeing himself once or twice, he learned to do it on purpose. Also, the nylon strap ended up wearing out after just 10 minutes of use. I would not…

This is my second pair of these hats, the first was thin leather which ended up tearing around the buckle holes and finally breaking them completely! I got this new kit thinking the nylon would be stronger but actually this nylon is also quite flimsy and has started to tear as has the leather. So I got out my sewing machine and attached a second layer of nylon to the straps so they are now twice as thick and have worked really well so far. With a stronger material I am very happy with these…
