This switch works on our F150's dash but doesn't have a nice tight circuit. You're not always sure if you've turned it off and on. It makes a little click, which is useful. It would be nice if it was a bit higher quality. I've looked around and couldn't find a higher quality switch in this dash mount design.

I installed this switch with a relay because I think my lights draw over 200mA. It would be nice to be able to purchase a relay from this seller to ensure you get a relay that will work with the switch, but I got one from an auto parts store and it worked fine. I watched a youtube video on how to connect a relay. So far, so good. I haven't tested the water resistance, so no rating.

Switch works great but connecting is not intuitive. You must turn on the switch so that it can turn on the light. Not someone who read the manuals for what I believe to be a fairly easy switch installation I had to pull out and re-wire the wiring. I have the interior of a boat and I doubt if it will be salt water resistant. I don't see any attempt to seal it and salt water is pretty harsh on electronics.

Will definitely buy this switch again. It's a beautiful, elegant design, especially when compared to other similar products. Quality and feel are good. And the installation is easy. I gave it 4 stars because I would like the LED in the switch to be a bit dimmer in the off position to make it easier to quickly tell the off and on positions. But that's a very small problem. Like I said, I would definitely buy this switch again.

My biggest wish was not to drill in my new truck. This switch made it possible for me. However, I ended up cutting the bottom because the backlight is soft white (the white light amplifies 1000x at night) and when it's on, a super bright white light. I just turned off the light and the switch works fine.
