Used a bat with Jugs mini baseballs and after about three rounds of batting (12 balls per round) it broke in half . I like the fact that the racquet is made of wood, but something needs to be changed about the design to make it less likely to break.

I bought this because my other one was stolen. This racquet, along with small jugs balls, is a great tool for practicing batting. As a batting instructor, I'm always looking for innovative new ways to keep batsmen on their toes and engaged. The racquet is lighter and thinner than traditional racquets, making it difficult to hit a small golf ball sized ball without looking at the ball. This is a great way to draw attention to the ball.

You can't go wrong with this brand. My son uses this with tiny balls and has greatly improved hand-eye coordination. The bat is light enough to swing with one hand for more advanced baseball practice. I've read reviews about the bit breaking but we had no problems. I would not recommend you hitting regular balls as this racquet does not survive contact. Works great with pitchers or small SKLZ balls or even plastic mini golf balls.
