This is my new must have for cast iron cooking. When cooking on the stove, I just put them on and don't have to worry about my kids or I getting burned trying to turn the knob.

Bought to replace my old worn cast iron pan holders. These are not of the same quality. They're getting very hot, so I'll have to find something else. Not the best choice for cast iron pans.

I have metal pots and pans with handles that are HOT. I put one on before I start cooking and voila, protection. If only they had something that simple and reliable for the lid handle.

I thought they would fit my hands better than gloves. Unfortunately they are too loose. I would have to have big hands to hold the handles tight enough so they don't slip around when trying to hold the cast iron skillet. I wish they would work, but they won't.

I bought these to use with my cast iron and they seem to heat up very quickly. I also wish they were a little tighter, but I think the fact that they aren't means they're very easy to remove. They're ok, better than accidentally grabbing a hot cast iron handle, but I definitely wish they held heat better.

Got this for my cast iron skillets and a couple of pots. It doesn't fit well so my wife almost burned herself picking up the pan and turning around, causing her to reflexively grab the pan before she could drop the ingredients on the floor. She took them off and said that it hurt her to squeeze her sleeve to hold the pot handles.

I've been looking for a product like this everywhere. I only wanted grip pads but the other kits had stuff I didn't need. They arrived on time. Well packaged in a set of 4. Only used a few times but so far so good. If they don't crack, crack, and melt, it's going to be a smash hit. Check back with me in a few months. No, not. I'm joking!

We have a few pots that we use to bake dishes in the oven. The problem is they have steel handles and it seems too easy to forget NOT TO THROW THE HANDLE! HOT! Who would have thought you'd forget what you're doing and hold onto the handle to steady it as you hand out the contents. This will save you a lot of bubbles. We have used them before and they are great!

There were so many good reviews that I was delighted to get the pens at such a great price. Unfortunately I'd rather keep my $10, I'd recommend going easy on yourself if you buy these cast iron pens. The handles are so loose that I can't rely on picking up a large pot just by the handle, it almost slipped out if I didn't catch it. The heat resistance is terrible, cook anything more than low heat and the silicone can get too hot to touch. This defeats the purpose.
