🕶️ Ultimate Eye Protection for Outdoor Adventurers: Julbo Colorado Glacier Sunglasses Review

Bought for a motorbike ride so I don't have to use a helmet visor. They're comfortable for everything except driving. When I first put them on I thought they would be great, but when I started wearing them for riding the part that goes over the ear detached from the goggles. I taped them back along the way, but it didn't work in the end and they fell apart. I had to drive the rest of the way without eye protection. I sent them back and am waiting for a refund.

I was a little hesitant about these glasses, but when they went on sale I decided to at least try them. I have a very small face and a very small head. They're a little big, but no different than cheap department store glasses. The sides are flexible so you won't get that weird headache from the wrong fit. The filter is amazing. In fact, they are better than my ski goggles. Everything looks razor-sharp and glare-free. I had another Julbo glasses with lower filtering. yeast difference.

Reliable quality even in this price range. I usually stay away from plastic lenses as I get burned too often with cheap optics, but these are fantastic. No distortion or wobble in the lenses that I can find. One note: they are very dark and not suitable for driving (I live in sunny Southern California). I am completely satisfied with these Julbo Colorado Mtn. When it's light outside I need durable sunglasses to work in and these even fit me. These goggles filter the light much better than even my custom and prescription goggles - the ones I've had to ask the techs to add an extra "darkening" to. Great sunglasses for the price. They are very dark, with fully mirrored lenses and a sturdy metal frame. For those familiar with the "shading" system used to standardize lens tint, that's 4. Most sunglasses, even good brands, have no more than 3. Goggles used for oxy-fuel welding , typically have 5-7.
