Julius K9 Harness Review

Works great in BMW, no problem with seat belt connection. It's nice that it can be adjusted if you want (or don't want) to give your dog a little more freedom of movement.

My dog chewed the belt like warm butter on a 90 degree day, it was actually funny but I blame myself for not watching closely enough but no harm to anyone inflicted, except my wallet.

This leash turns your dog into a battery swinger if you are ever in a car accident. This is a limitation at best and NOTHING IN THE NEAR THE SEAT HARNESS This is a very short leash that attaches directly to your dog's harness or collar at the harness mount near your waist Any sharp turn, hard stop or fall and your dog will turn into a paddle ball So damn stupid.

Kia Sedona Minivan. Holds my big boy in place. Works great with siding hanger. As soon as I open the door he throws himself on it and if the window is open he jumps out (that happened once on the Autobahn, thank God nothing happened). At first I couldn't put it in, I had to flip it and now it's perfect.

We stopped using our Julius harness after the dog learned to sew the Y-piece on!). But we still use this seat belt adapter, even with other seat belts. It's long enough for our woofer to look out of any window, but short enough that it can't jump out the window. Very easy to use - just zip up and attach to your dog's harness. Fits through the gap in our seat with no problems.

The shape of the strap attachment doesn't match the buckles on my 2012 F150. If I want it to fit I have to rip out the drum and make it a little wider. The packaging also states that you must attach the dog to 2 separate straps using 2 of these. There are two things here, if you need two then sell two in one package. If you require two please state this clearly as not everyone will have two harnesses. I love harnesses so don't let wearing harnesses put me off.

My dog likes to take me to the garden center or hardware store, but finds the vendors dangerous. It keeps her safely out of his reach. I bought this with the understanding that it was NOT a safety feature, it was a harness and it is more comfortable and shorter than the leash I attached to the headrest. This made our trip with a very excited Aussie so much easier! We had a horrifying experience with a previous dog when he jumped through a window of a moving car! Luckily he wasn't hurt and we were almost home but it was really scary! Bought because my dog always tries to maneuver in the front seat while driving and also for his safety during the upcoming drive. It is very easy to use as I also have a Julius-K9 (LOVE IT) harness for my dog. The end of the seat belt fits perfectly in every car I've tried it in so far (except for the center seat belt in the back seat which is fine as there are two others there anyway) and the connection to the belt is secure. As the company is based outside the UK they target manufacturers other than Chevy, Ford etc. I didn't know about it at the time.
