Junction Adjustable Eyeball Security Cameras Review

I didn't actually use this box for its intended purpose as a camera platform. I used it for security lighting outside my home. But it worked great and I was impressed with the quality. The kit included everything you need for installation: gaskets, screws and insulators. Highly recommended.

Closest size and color I could find for mounting an AXIS security camera on a brick wall. The pattern of the holes was slightly different, but using the foam insert as a template made it quick and easy to drill a few extra holes. Good durable product. Everything went well. Many Thanks.

I like the metal construction of the round box itself, but why the plastic inserts? I used it as a surface mount for my ring light chamber, so its diameter was close to the 5" diameter of the spotlight base. Silicone sealant protected some of the access holes from the elements. The price was MUCH cheaper than some other 5 inch surface mount switch boxes.

This stand was perfect for my Lorex cameras. I've tried several others and they didn't work. This one was more expensive but just what I needed. It was the right size and included all the necessary screws and a mounting template. It is high-quality, made of aluminum and protects against water ingress. If your camera base fits the dimensions of this base, I recommend buying one and trying it out.

This camera base junction box itself is quite strong. However, the screw spacing doesn't seem to be the same as a standard socket, so my Eufy headlight camera couldn't be attached to this socket due to dimensional issues. So I had to go to the local hardware store to buy a regular outlet to complete the installation and I wasted that camera base outlet (as I had already opened it up and might not be able to return it).

I bought this to install my security camera. Although it didn't fit them perfectly, I was able to get them working with a little modification. However, some things were harder to fix than others. The cut was pretty awful. They were rough, almost jagged, and difficult to thread into the line fitting. I had to force the coupling with pliers to get it onto the threads even if it didn't fit perfectly, after which I had to use some silicone to make it waterproof. Pros: - Metal box - Pretty cheap…

This is a good product but it has 2 major drawbacks. Firstly, the supplied screws to attach the camera base to this box are not long enough, I believe the supplied screws are 3/4" long. They need to be at least 1" long to accommodate the most common IR dome cameras on the market to be able to. I have bought several of these bases twice.
