They work almost TOO well

I have a parrot and a budgie. They love mirrors and this is the best I've found. When they approach it, it must seem to them that they are surrounded by their herd. It attaches easily to their cage and holds securely. Maybe my only problem with this is that the birds spend so much time pressing their faces against the mirror. They sleep like this and appear to be in love with their reflection. They're both young, maybe they'll grow out of this fixation. Nevertheless, a well-made and well…

Adds dimension to the mirror game. Great toy!

The residents love this mirror and I'll probably have to buy another one to keep everyone happy. What I got was green. It bolts to the cage using a traditional JW plastic bolting mechanism (a plug with a thread molded into the back and then a plastic plug that screws onto it from the outside of the bars). You need to make sure he can face the perch as my little budgie was upset when I pinned him next to the perch and he couldn't see all 4 versions of his pretty face preening in it. Great toy…

The parrot is in love with himself.

My parrot loves this mirror very much thanks to all the different angles he can admire himself, me. He's always been fascinated by his reflection, to the point where my husband joked that we should call him Narcissus. However, this mirror takes it to a whole new level. The mirror is better than I expected. It has a thick plastic bar around the mirrors and is easy to securely attach to the cage where I want it. I can tighten it to the point where I know it won't come loose from my budgie…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Birds love this mirror.

My parrots seem to be quite conceited as they can sit in this little mirror for hours and chat to themselves. They seem to like it as both a mirror and a snuggle spot at the end of the perch (and they have those fluffy Birdy Buddy things, so I don't give them anything to snuggle with). The product is very strong and I haven't noticed any cracks or breaks even after my ray of sunshine chewed on it. However, as with all bird toys, be aware that your mileage may vary. A large bird would probably…

Three way mirror for small birds

There was 1 in the cart, due to the many 5 star reviews I decided to read a lot anyway. We laughed and decided to order 2 budgies instead of 5. They were an instant hit, putting 1 on the end of a long pole after reading a funny review from a customer who did this and their parrot chatted away having a great time at 1 then ran to the opposite mirror and did the same , just went from 1 to another she who was up to date with all the gossip of new friends could imagine. So did my most sociable…

Corella likes: Toys

I have several parrots and in May I adopted a cockatiel. Unfortunately he was not hand fed and was caged with several other cockatiels. I'm sure because he was missing her, not being hand fed and getting used to his new surroundings, the first few weeks after I brought him home he was terrified of most things. I figured a mirror would help him and looked around at local pet stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc and no one wears bird mirrors anymore. I was happy to find it and bought it for my cockatiel
