Regular Sand Perch Swing Bird Toy - JW Pet Company Insight Review

My cockatiel loves this swing. This is his favorite spot and he even forces himself to rock back and forth. He sits there, swings and whistles his songs. That's great! He also loves to sleep there and we often find him there in the mornings (although he has nice, natural perches too!). Highly recommended.

Excellent! I bought the regular size and it suits my green cheek contour perfectly. As with anything new, it took a few days to get used to. He loves her and even plays with her, hanging himself on the cage and pushing her. The only complaint was that the packaging was torn, the plastic peeling away from the back of the box so it was practically open on arrival.

This swing is so hard to find and so perfect! I use them on my lovebirds and parrots and they love them. Keeps their claws trimmed, they can't gnaw through bars like wooden dowels, and the diameter is great for both foot sizes. Your cage should have perches of different diameters and textures to exercise your bird's legs. If the claws overlap, the perch is too thin. This swing is slightly thinner in the middle, giving the bird a choice of where to sit. Wide enough for my two lovebirds to sit…

My darling loves to ride it. However, he is cut for being at it for too long. However, that doesn't stop him from swinging on it. This is a normal product. I will continue my search for the best (hopefully archived) perch. :::UPDATE 8/3/2014 :::I couldn't find exactly what I wanted for my birdie so I sanded this perch down with some sandpaper. Now the bird's paws don't cut anymore. Unfortunately, he does not cut my bird's claws. However, it is still my bird's favorite perch. ^_^
