It works great but I don't do much video work

Bought this for a GoPro a few years ago. It works great, but I don't work with video much. Where it really shines is as a mount for my headlight. I have a Bontrager Ion 350R. I always hated the handlebar mount because it would slide off on rough terrain and the light would end up pointing down. Trek/Bontrager recently released a Go Pro compatible adapter for their flashlights. Ask for part number 543299. Now my steering wheel is less cluttered and I have a rock solid light.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It does not work as packaged and designed. For this to work, either the camera would be vertical or garmin. (I have a Garmin 520 with no front mount and a Go Pro) The only workaround I could find was to replace the absolutely tiny screws with tiny studs (because the screws a) are too short to do anything and b ) there isn't any. any threads that can be caught in the matching holes. So I don't screw it up :(

Pros
  • . Great overall performance
Cons
  • Protection

That does not work. Period.

I haven't read the reviews but should have accepted, the top of the Garmin mount is female, the Garmin product insert and rotate the latch, the bottom of the Garmin mount has a protrusion pin end, there is no way to use the edge adapter K, it is flat on the bottom and doesn't have a flush joint, the screws provided are 1/4" shorter if you want to screw it on, but it will wobble and will most likely come loose , definitely won't deliver a $400 pro for a period of time.Waste of time, effort and…

Why can't they package these things better? Good quality.

Absolutely annoying the way they package this thing - two tiny screws and a block of thick heat sealed plastic but the screws aren't secured by anything so it takes a heroic effort to break the plastic, the screws then fly away somewhere in some dark slot in my garage - it takes an hour to search for the second screw. Why can't they wrap this thing up better, I mean they'll make you pay a freaking arm and leg for it. Otherwise it looks like it fits perfectly. Looks strong and high quality.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nice little add-on for the new Garmin/Wahoo (yes

Nice little add-on for the new Garmin/Wahoo (yes it works with those too) K-Edge mount. Cleans up all the cables just to make everything cleaner I would provide a photo but my phone broke :(See many one star reviews from people trying to use this on incompatible mounts. Their webpage uses the Wahoo Didn't even mention handlebar mount. But they responded to my email inquiry within a day. Obviously it doesn't work with the old Garmin rounded bottom plastic mount. It was designed to integrate with

Don't believe reviews that say it works on a Garmin mount, it's impossible!

So the product description clearly states that it will work with the original Garmin mount, but the product I received does not attach to the bottom of the Garmin mount. There must be some threads going under the Garmin washer or something. I figured I could swap out the screws and use the very short screws that come with the product like the screws that hold the Garmin washer in place and then use the longer Garmin screws to attach the mount adapter with it. It would work if there was a catch…

Another K-Edge quality product

This is an amazing Garmin K-Edge mount. No need for two handlebar mounts to create grip points and position the camera well above the handlebars. The bracket is held securely from below with two small screws included in the kit. My only small issue is the screw that holds the GoPro mount in place. This means you will need to carry a different size Allen wrench to attach it. I wish they had included a regular GoPro screw grip for a nice and easy assembly. I've used this on a few road bike rides,

Works great, but a little more than I want to spend.

I have an old Garmin Edge 500 and got a K-Edge mount from a friend. I didn't want to buy another dual mount and this was just what I needed. I wasn't sure if this would fit my mount as some of the reviews are a bit unclear. I've added photos and videos to this review so you can get a better idea of what type of K-Edge mount it fits. It comes with two screws, so take extra care when unpacking. They are tiny and the packaging is vacuum. You place it on the bottom of the bracket and screw in two…
