Effective Air Intake System

After trying this air intake system, I noticed a significant improvement in my car's acceleration and overall performance. The installation process was smooth and simple, and it fits perfectly in my car. The only downside is its price, but its long-term benefits make it worth it.

Pros
  • Improved engine performance and horsepower.
Cons
  • Potential installation difficulty for those without mechanical experience.

Marriage without customer support

I am very dissatisfied with K&N products and customer service. The mounting plate that attaches to the throttle body has three screws that go through the metal. I torqued this part with a 1/4" torque wrench using the factory torque specs. This shouldn't have happened and now I've spent over $200 on an unwanted part and got no response from customer service. Look around and you'll find out that I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Long wait

Throttle body bolt position is VERY loose. Be careful.

I have used various K&N products over the years and they usually impress me with VERY high quality. However, when installing this air intake, I quickly discovered that the back plate (Part #01938TK) is very brittle where the three throttle body bolts attach. You have to be VERY careful to just push it in slightly or you will punch a hole for the screw. I'm the type to be very careful not to overtighten, but this was way too flimsy compared to the stock pickup. Looks? Great performance? Seems to
