Glossy VAR 7-13 W/Grind ADF Helmet - High Capacity Polycarbonate, Black (Two Pack) Review

It came out of the box with tiny indentations on the ADF lens. Contacted LE was told to come back for another. This is the second as the first came with a box almost torn in two.

Very disappointed with the quality from a famous brand. The entire lower part of the helmet is deformed and soft, as if the plastic hadn't hardened. Unfortunately, I did not open the goods immediately and it is too late to return them.AB

This welding helmet is light, comfortable enough and feels solid. For the last 2 months I've been welding in this helmet 2 times a week (I'm doing a course). As a beginner welder, this helmet has definitely taken some extra "abuse" but seems to be holding up very well.

The only problem was that the headgear wasn't assembled properly, but after unrolling it and putting it in the right position it turned out to be very comfortable and easy to use. The helmet performed well when tested in the sun, which many other brands don't seem to do. This greatly improved my welds as I could see where I started my welds. Definitely recommend.

I was trying to decide between this hood and the Yeswelder hood which looked more slotted, had a bigger window etc. Basically the same price. I'm glad I chose Lincoln. This is a really good hood for the money. Has all the features you need and nothing more. I suggest if you find yourself in a similar situation that you go with a reliable brand. I don't think you can even beat Lincoln in the budget market.

I bought this welding hood for on the job maintenance. Advantages. It's really easy and affordable thanks to the auto dimming button on the outside! I prefer this to internal control because it makes the transition from grinding to welding much easier, and I work in a quarry so it's not a very clean environment. This will help prevent unwanted dirt or grime from getting into your hood! Great feature. Cons: Small viewing slot, but that's all I have to complain about.

Don't buy those cheap forney helmets from your friend that don't last long and don't have a replaceable battery, spend a little more and get the one . A well-known brand that you can trust. If you only weld 2-3 times a month, that's all you need. The lid is light but protects well and doesn't feel like a bowling ball on your head. a long time, and if you can't see your weld in a helmet like this, maybe you should let someone else do the welding

I'm not a real welder. I do some welding from time to time and if it is necessary I can get a good weld done. I had an Antra dimming helmet with the same specs.
