Rear brake pads don't match

Front and rear rotors match perfectly. The front pads fit well. The rear pads don't fit. The "wing" of the rear cushions is too long.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Useless features

Fantastic brake kit upgrade

Used as a replacement for my 2006 Acura RL. Huge upgrade over the brakes I had. Excellent initial bite and overall better stopping power. Definitely recommended.

The Best Brakes in Braking System History

Replaced the brakes on my Acura RL. The brakes are great, they fit perfectly, the carbon pads are dust free and are holding up great, couldn't be happier. I made the brakes a year ago with $850 Acura parts and they lasted a year. These brakes cost less than half and work better.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Requires socket

I can't rate durability, but they look good and do their job well

I have a 2006 Acura RL. I paid a mechanic to install it, he didn't complain about installation issues when asked. My front ones were completely gone before the replacement so I can definitely see the difference. Can't rate durability but they look good and seem to do their job well.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

They were easy to install with no tricks

Needed new rotors and brakes for my 2006 Acura RL. My front brakes are almost gone and my rear brakes are less than 50% left. The last time I cut the rotors my mechanic said there was basically nothing else to cut. So my next brake job was basically a rotor/brake job :). Having said that, I had to do a lot of research and settled on this Power Stop front and rear set. I consulted with some of the pros at Acurazine and they said some pretty good things about her. My mechanic said they were easy…

Product great but with a few minor issues

The removal and installation instructions were excellent as was the break in process. had to buy smaller screws which worked great. For those installing this on a Honda or Acura, note that the set screws will need to be removed with an impact wrench (hammer type, not an air gun). Plan on buying 8 new bolts when making front and rear discs. Use lubricant before screwing in screws. They aren't really designed to keep the disc from any stress on the disc, they simply keep the discs from moving…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weight

I had to order two sets to get one set.

Overall quality was good but the problem I had was that only the front set was in the box. I called Revain and they kindly offered to send me a whole new set and keep the old one. Great I thought, at least I get an extra set of front rotors and pads if I have to do it in about 10 years (ha!). In the meantime, it may be taking up space in my cluttered garage. Received the replacement kit today, only the rear kit this time! I checked their website and packaging again. Part numbers correspond to…

Pros
  • Quality assembly

  • Vulgarity
