Wouldn't buy!

I bought this kit for my 1994 BMW 325is and was told it would fit, however the brake pads do not match the stock calipers. Very disappointing

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Weight

The rotor is good. Poor brake pad

Bought this kit for my BMW Z3. Rotor and pads fit. After breaking the pads as instructed, one of the pads simply came off at the first stop. I had to buy a basic set of semi-metallic ones that work fine.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad but...

The only system you can buy, period.

As always, this kit works great. I bought a second set which on the first car, already at 100,000 miles, is still running perfectly and is just ready for a new pad. I expect this set to last the life of the car. This kit is all I would buy if it was available for the car.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I won't tell

Before installing these pads and discs, I was constantly getting brake dust. Now there is no brake dust at all and braking is excellent, but there was a break-in period that required more than normal brake pressure. Now they miraculously stop without even disappearing. These ceramic pads can handle the heat.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

If they get worse I'm sure I'll replace them.

I received the rotors and pads quickly. I installed them on my BMW 328is. I have to say that ceramic pads definitely reduce the brake dust on my wheels. However, the rotors warped a bit after just under 1,000 miles of normal (mostly highway) driving. These are definitely not the kind of rotors to buy for aggressive riding like autocross. If they get worse I'm sure I'll be replacing them in another 1000 miles or so.

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Modern

Nice looking rotors but broken pads

I installed them 1.5 weeks ago and am driving my car. I noticed a spongy brake pedal and poor braking performance, as well as a lot of brake dust coming out of my DS's front wheel. I picked up the car this weekend and was told that the outer driver's side brake pad is about 50% warned! Maybe after 200 miles of driving! It must have been a broken pad as the other three pads look fine. I also have a power stop brake kit for my rear brakes and they are working well with about 500 miles so far. All

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things
