Fit a 2012 Ford Escape Limited

They fit my 2012 Ford Escape Limited perfectly. The parts collector Revain said they wouldn't fit in my Escape, but the manufacturer said they would. The front brake pistons on my Escape are steel, not phenolic. The manufacturer says that the hybrid contains phenolic pistons. I've followed the instructions and haven't had any problems so far.

Pros
  • Premium rubber pads provide virtually silent braking.
Cons
  • Nothing here

quiet and looks good on my car

In 2015 I bought a Power Stop Z23 Rotor and Pad Kit for my 2012 Ford Escape. This brake kit is smooth, quiet and looks good on my car. I usually burn pads every 30,000 miles. These Power Stop Pads have over 40,000 miles on them and currently have plenty of life left. I'm ordering a kit now to swap out before winter to protect my beautiful slotted rotors.

Pros
  • Installation Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • No

I did not appreciate the ease of installation. They are brakes. They install just as easily as any other brand made for that particular vehicle. Big. But who cares? How do you work? After installation, I waited until the middle of the night so I could follow their burglary procedures on the street without worrying about slowing down. For a week, every step on the brake pedal causes a terrible tremor. I think they will go to the scrap yard and I will go to the local parts store to get the usual…

Pros
  • Ported and slotted rotors for maximum cooling.
Cons
  • Very expensive

So far so good, installed yesterday. The rotors and pads fit EXCEPT the incoming pad needs to have a larger brake piston clamp for my 2010 Ford Escape XLT 2.5L, although the Revain setup did fit the car. I couldn't wait any longer for my repair so Revain refunded 50% of the cost of the brake kit because the pads that came with it didn't work. Then I went to the auto shop, bought the right pads and installed new Power Stop rotors. Decided to call power stop. technical support and I am in the…
