The brakes are good, the fittings are not

The brakes are good, the fittings are not included. Installed on a 2014 Santa Fe Sport, the stainless steel pad retainers/guides made a horrible grinding noise as they rubbed against the rotor. Dumpster threw out my junk and reinstalled OEM.

Pros
  • A good product for its price
Cons
  • confused

2014 Kia Sorento: perfect in every way

2014 Kia Sorento: everything fits perfectly, including brake guide seals. Includes pin bushings, grease, etc. Can't wait to swap out the rear kit now! FYI: The break-in period may smell a bit for a few days, but this is completely normal.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Wrong brake pads work best with brake kits

It's a shame I waited so long to change the brakes because the pads are the wrong size. You are too small. But the rotor is fine. It is confusing. I'm only leaving this review to warn buyers to make sure you get the right hardware once you get it. There are no questions about the quality of the goods. But now I have to buy pads at the local store.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Don't expect PowerStop to help

Got front brakes and rotors... I connected everything I needed regarding my car (2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL with 3.3 liter V6 engine ) could. They sent me the correct rotors but the wrong pads and I didn't realize it until I went to install them. So, as advised, I contacted PowerStop and was treated as if this error was entirely my fault. All I can say is beware buyers! They don't stand behind their product!

Pros
  • Like everything so far
Cons
  • Too stupid

The braking system is not dead yet

Works great. until now. If you never see my review again someone can change this to 1 star. There are pauses, there's always something going on, which makes installation a complete headache**. Pad bushings suck, just use the old ones. Due to wear and tear I had to dismantle the wheels and replace the old ones with new ones. However, there is nothing to complain about when it comes to good rubbers and good rotors. Dust is minimal, if any. No hotspots, even after towing a boat and a loaded…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Long wait

Impressive pads and rotors. garbage accessories.

As for the pads and rotors, they are amazing! Braking is much smoother and more aggressive. The only thing that bothered me was the stainless steel hardware that comes with the pads. Do yourself a favor, throw them in the trash and use the existing hardware on your car. They have a slightly different shape and eventually rub against the outer edge of the rotor. You'll do the job twice if you don't follow this advice.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Perfect replacement - Brake Kits

Used Autozone brakes but after the 3rd brake repair in 2 years decided to void the AZ warranty and change brands. I chose her after a long search. Easy to install, like any brake job EXCEPT as someone else commented, the brake clamp hardware doesn't fit properly. I put on new hardware, pulled out of the driveway to "determine" the brakes and you can hear metal on metal rubbing against the tops of the rotors and it was so loud. The people outside stared at me. It sounded like nails on a board. I
