🔪 Ka-Bar G10 Mule Small Tanto Folding Knife with Serrated Edge - Black Review

I bought this binder thinking it would be similar to the Kabar binder my brother bought. However, there is one key difference between our knives, his version of the Folder is made in the USA, mine is made in China. the handle for your thumb fell out of my head and his knife is still intact. There are several other versions of the Kabar folder, I would stay away from this one or one made in China, there is a difference!

Although heavy and large (just what I need), this mule is strong, well made, durable and a fantastic bang for the buck! Actually, this is my second knife. My first one popped out after about 4 years of wearing and using. Under the limited lifetime warranty, I sent it back to Ka-Bar[.] and TWO DAYS later they sent me a brand new one. IMPRESSIVE! So now I have two of these knives but they are amazing!

I bought a straight edge tanto and a serrated tanto. Both weigh about 8 ounces. The blade is 4 inches long and the total open length is just over 9 inches. These are powerful knives designed to work in difficult conditions. The blades are razor sharp from the factory. Ka Bar is unbeatable when it comes to making quality knives. Have been using it for a year now. I've taken good care of it, keeping it clean and wiping it down with Hoppe's #9 from time to time. But I'm in a hot and humid environment (think Florida Keys) and both of my mules are starting to rust. Quite simply because the humidity of the ambient air is around 70-80% all year round.
