Kai KAI5350 8 Shears Review

The best fire starter on the market. I have 2 other brands and this pair blew them away. The other 2 pairs are now in the whelping box.

After trying another brand I asked if there was another style of décolleté scissors that would be light weight and fit in a small hand. Kia scissors fit perfectly! After lubricating them with household oil, I used them in my current project. They may cost more, but the quality is there!

While they are nice and sharp, I expected to be able to cut multiple layers of fabric. If you plan to use them to trim fillet seams or prevent fraying, you really need to be able to cut through more than one layer of fabric. A little disappointed.

I bought these at the recommendation of members of a sewing club I am a member of. They are so hard I can't use them. By can't use it, I mean I CANNOT use it! On the advice of a club member, I lubricated them, but to no avail. You are a complete disappointment. It's $25 I'm not getting back.

These scissors are sharp and very comfortable to use. They ensure a precise cut to the tip. I have several KAI scissors. Whenever I need to replace dull old scissors, I do it with KAI. This pair makes 4 pairs for me. I have not been disappointed in any of my decisions and neither will you. Worth every penny.

I'm starting my collection of Kai shears etc. After buying the 8" shears I wanted to try the pinking shears. I really like her. I think Kai is perfect for the serious dressmaker. The only time I had problems with the pinking shears was when I was cutting very thin and heavily worn satin. She tended to chew sometimes. But I can only imagine the disappointment with my old scissors.

Overall, I find Kai Scheren the best. I started collecting. I really like their professional tailoring scissors. These pink scissors are too difficult to open and close. The blades are of good quality and sharp, although the handles are too stiff to work comfortably. My hands hurt, especially the pressure on the thumb bone from multiple cuts.
