I love this mortar and pestle set. Bought for crushing large tablets. I will try garlic cloves and other herbs in the future and feel like this kit can do it all. I like that it's made of wood. It is also very light and easy to clean. Will definitely be buying more for personal use and as gifts.

I bought this item to use for condiments and other kitchen activities but after seeing the metal shavings in the gut part and how rough the inside is I decided against it. The wood is very rough and porous so I don't think it's safe for all you can eat. This is a good exhibition and can be used for other purposes.
