Excellent after a difficult pairing.

It took me a heck of a lot of time to connect this to my Fios network. I have a 2.4 and 5 GHz router. I had to figure out how to temporarily disable one of my signals (can't remember which one) in order to link it. After that everything is great. I use All-For Reef in my nano tank. Seems to work as advertised, although instructions are a bit lacking.

Almost perfect for fish and aquatic animals

Connecting to a 2.4G network is probably a challenge you just won't give up. Change the router's WiFi settings for pairing. I just turn off my 5G to pair, once connected you will love it. So perfect for small tanks. Funciona muy bien.

Hot Trash in Water Pump

The pump won't connect to the 2.4Ghz WiFi no matter what I try (and I've tried everything mentioned on the R2R forums and Kamoer's YouTube channel becomes). At 60% it just freezes. Why does everything have to be connected to the internet? I would be happy with their bluetooth pump, but it only doses 12 times a day, not 24 like this device. I would happily pay for Neptune DOS if I needed two dosing pumps, but I only need one. So disappointing.

Great little dispenser.

Works great when connected to WiFi. Follow the connection instructions and it didn't go into connection mode (fast blinking). Eventually I just accidentally pressed the button and there was a quick flash and I was able to connect. It takes some time for the app to figure out the dosing schedules. But once you figure it out, it works great. Calibration was a breeze. I've been dispensing alkaline solutions for a few months now with no problems.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Without automatic controls

Ok but I need 2.4Ghz internet

It really hurts. If you don't understand Ghz and all that for your internet, just look elsewhere. Since you only have a 5.0 GHz internet connection, you'll need to call your ISP and set them up to only connect! Or go all the way to your mailbox or as far away from your router as possible to connect. To be honest, Bluetooth really isn't worth the headache and hassle. Just use the dosing pump x1. In addition, they cannot even be hung. For some reason the connector was plugged in from behind with…

How I solved my 2.4Ghz problem

I have set up Google Mesh WiFi at home and was very nervous about ordering this pump due to the problems many users are having with connecting due to 2.4 -GHz vs. 5GHz tuning reported issue. My Google Wi-Fi is dual band and automatically switches between 2.4 and 5.0. I've researched online and read that 2.4 is good for distance but weaker signal and 5.0 is optimal when closer to the router but not good for distance. Based on that, I moved the donor and phone to the furthest point in the house…

Good dispenser but 2.4GHz WiFi is a problem

With modular expansion, accurate dosing control, compact size, flexible scheduling and WiFi control, the Kamoer X1 Pro 2 dosing pump is a good option for automating aquarium care . It's tricky to set up though, as it only works with WiFi at 2.4GHz. I figured this would be easy because I have two wireless networks, a state of the art dual band high speed network and a 2.4GHz guest network. A long time ago I set up a guest network for a device that couldn't work with dual-band routers. But I have
