Beautifully Made on my review.

I spent some time in Morocco a few years ago, and I've wanted a Tagine ever since. I didn't have room in my suitcase to buy one there. This one is beautiful; the painting is exactly as good as it appears from the photo, and it was VERY thoroughly packed so that there was no chance of damage during shipping.Many of the Tagines out there are intended only as serving vessels, so I was glad to find that this one is safe for cooking, even if it's only at low heat. I haven't actually tried it yet…

Kitchen must have! in my review

This is AMAZING! Came in bubble wrapped like nobodies business. They really made sure that it traveled well. Great craftsmanship. I treated it like my other clay pots and soaked the lid for 30 minutes to help the steam action happen in the oven. It did take it longer to cook my goat than my cast iron Dutch oven but the flavor was really good and the presentation really wowed. Highly recommend!

Do as the Moroccans and enjoy a great meal from this well-made tagine

This is well made, works great, and is a work of art. I have read the negative comments but here’s my take. Follow the instructions and let it soak for 24 hrs. Then when cooking use a heat diffuser, don’t put it in the oven, and don’t use electric. When in doubt look at any of the Moroccan cooking shows and you will see what I mean. This is made for traditional slow cooking and it works perfectly for that. You want to speed things up and put this in the oven then you’ll ruin things either the…

Excellent Quality good for me

My girlfriend and I undertook scratch cooking during the pandemic. Looking for new horizons we bought this item. It's beautiful, the food it produces is very flavorful. If you're going to gift it have it go alonw with a cookbook although a lot of info is available on line.

I was really stunned by how beautiful a hand made craft object this is. Have not made a tagine in it yet, but look forward to making one in this pot and being able to take it to guests in the same pot. Also, I have never received a fragile item so well packed, wrapped in bubble-wrap and then surrounded by plastic peanuts in the box. I doubt if any buyer ever receives a damaged pot. The instructions say to soak it in cold water for 24 hours before the first use. But they neglect to say how long…
