Extremely fast and similar to security features

I got this disk because one day in the sky I saw something on my windows laptop that made me nervous and wanted to run a full system scan from a bootable antivirus disk. I've felt the need to do it twice this year. I think the last time I did this was about two years ago. I use the free KRD Privateer. KRD is a Linux rescue disk with a Kapersky virus scanner. My procedure is to download the latest KRD ISO on my wife's Mac and flash it to a USB stick. At this point, I would ideally like to makeโ€ฆ

So far so good with Kanguru FlashTrust

So far so good with Kanguru FlashTrust. After some research and learning what a "bad USB" is, this was clearly the best option out there. It has worked flawlessly so far and I don't see any problems with it in the future.

Secure flash drive firmware is required!

Knowing that the firmware on these little beauties can't be overwritten by things like BadUSB has given me a lot of peace of mind at work. They work like a charm right out of the box with no issues.

Selling point obviously great security features

I bought the 8GB model. The upside, of course, is the great security features, but it's also the fastest USB drive I've ever used. Booting the computer from a hard drive (such as live Linux distributions, emergency antivirus disks, or MemTest86) had mixed results; While I was able to boot an Asus P8Z77-V LK motherboard and a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop, I couldn't get the old Gigabyte P35-DS3L to recognize it as a boot device despite having multiple USB ports (front and rear). back) tried andโ€ฆ

Good flash drive affordable protection against BadUSB

I have been using two of them regularly for several years. I had no problems. The manufacturer certifies that this product protects against the dreaded Stuxnet and related viruses. I can't say if that's the case, but as far as I know it's the only USB available that makes that claim. As a bonus, it also has a well-functioning write-protect switch. Many or most USB devices can be infected with BadUSB and related viruses simply by plugging them into an infected computer, and they can transmit the

The woman loves it. And it solves a potential security problem.

I'm a computer scientist. Unless you work in IT security or research the problem this product is designed to solve, it won't seem like much to you. Unfortunately I believe it. When Knoll and Lell documented BadUSB, I got worried. But when Caudill and Wilson released the proof-of-concept code, I got really worried. My wife studies and works with some of the LOST security systems. These places are the perfect breeding ground for computer security infections like viruses. These don't scare meโ€ฆ
