The self-adhesive pad worked surprisingly well. The only problem I had was that I ended up with a small gap (1/4 inch or so) between the start and the end. When I need another one, I start in the middle (top of the door) and work my way down to the ends so I can make sure they fit together exactly. Hope this helps someone else as I haven't found any information on how to do this. One star deducted for lack of instructions and cost which seems a bit high for what it is. .

Fits perfectly, bought another one to be ready next time. A few years ago I was fed up with being ripped off every time my boiler was serviced "professionally".
