🔴 Kapro 246M Magnetic Handy Level, Crimson, 4-Inch Review

I bought this level along with two others for home and gun projects. I tested all three levels against each other on a flat surface and all three showed the level in different configurations. I am more than happy. I'm glad I didn't spend more money on a "higher" model.

, it's cheap, works great and fits in my tool bag without taking up too much space. A 9 inch torpedo is too big for me and takes up too much space. This guy fits perfectly in my tool bag and in the side pocket of my carpenter's jeans. Seems to be as accurate as my more expensive levels.

I test new levels by flipping them in the same place and I couldn't get this little guy to read the same thing I did . That's not very far from the goal, but it's not, and further use will likely end badly. It was cheap, but when a job needs to be done and it doesn't fit the task, money and time are wasted.

The level appears to be made of die-cast aluminum. The magnets are strong. For twenty bucks, that's no problem. Incidentally, the Amazon site initially seemed to allow the buyer to choose between several different tiers, which caused some confusion with the reviews. My review is about a red two-tiered layer with a stylized arrow pointing to a viewing window.

It's really great, especially in a small space. Sometimes you don't have room for a huge level to check something like the side of a crate etc. And it's really easy to pack up if you need to take it elsewhere for a project. Easily fits in a backpack, pocket or purse. Mark on photo to indicate size. And it's definitely magnetic so you can keep it on the fridge etc for easy storage and access.

not very useful as the edges aren't very square and the built in bubble level which can be rotated at any angle has no detent stops at the usual angles will only be used by eye set. So basically it's completely inaccurate - if you can set the degree accurately by eye then you don't need a spirit level at all. it's more of a product given away at trade shows than promoting the company. Maybe helpful if nothing else helps?
