Doesn't work for meat

I bought this digital meat thermometer 7 months ago and loved it, that is until it stopped working completely. I've tried replacing the battery to see if that's the problem, but that didn't work. I think this item should last longer than 7 months - very disappointed!

Immediate receipt of goods for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Probe folds in and out like a knife, which means it can also be switched on and off. Large display, fairly durable (doesn't seem cheap in Chinese), backlit display, right at the tip of the probe, magnetic so you can attach it to the stove, grill etc as I keep it with me. I am very happy with it.

Digital Display Not Working

This product started to fail after 10 months of irregular use. The small digital display is missing numbers due to a screen malfunction. For example, if the screen is supposed to show 8th, there will be no page indicator on the screen, so it might look like "5". Typical inexpensive device = product defect.

Irregular Temperature Gauge

I really wanted to love this meat thermometer. We had another one that didn't work very well, so I figured this one would do just the job. Temperature readings were everywhere, mostly showing lower than actual temperatures and overcooking the meat. Very disappointing, do not recommend.

Excellent build quality, ease of use and great design.

I have ordered several of these from different sellers to see which has the best quality for the money. I found this design (which is sold by many vendors) to be the best, but settled on this vendor for the best value for money as the unit has a temperature chart that allows you to burn a variety of meats. Good product!

High quality digital meat thermometer

After years of not having a meat thermometer I finally ordered this one. Excellent quality, good price and FAST temperature measurement! Now I feel a lot more confident when grilling meat and know when it's done or not. It also folds up and is not very big. It fits easily in my kitchen drawer and is very easy to clean. I use this with an indoor grill at my apartment and it's amazing.
