It works great for me and was very easy to install I really like it I'm not sure why it has so many bad reviews maybe yes bad experiences with other people

Great idea but does not work

I love Kasa products but this router is not their best product. The device generates enough heat that causes the UI screen to constantly glitch and freeze. We also had issues with random drops from devices. Again, Kasa is a great brand, it's just not their best product.

Setup is full of bugs - F

I decided to write a review while sitting here discarding a brand new router. Setup couldn't start new wifi network name i created, only after reboot ssid reappeared, then i still had factory wifi passwords set, i edited them but didn't save. Software is useless, physical device is useless.

Strong WiFi is good for routers

For a router, that's a good thing. The signal is strong and supports over 25 smart home devices, but still works with a couple of phones. The designation as a Z-Wave hub is misleading. I'm pretty sure they meant Z-Wave and Zigbee; when you buy a motion sensor or Kasa door. I have two Z-Wave switches (not Kasa) that cannot communicate with this hub. This View has been a bit on fire since I bought it as an all-in-one hub.

Good idea, very poor execution

I had problems with this router (and replacement for the same model) from the start. During the installation, the wizard failed several times and only half configured the router. I finally managed to finish the wizard and at first everything seemed to be working. However, the router simply freezes and needs to be restarted manually or randomly. Every time the router rebooted it would default back to the default network name and password and all my smart home devices would go off until I could…

DO NOT BUY THIS Terrible product and service

Nothing but questions since I bought this hub. Today's update cleared all the settings that were telling me to reinstall all devices. This is terrible service. The hub is a toy, I like the switches there but the hub is terrible.

Won't pair with my Z-Wave Schlage or other Z-Wave devices I had so I bought it for my SmartHome devices. Do not purchase this product if you require ZWave compatibility with Lutron or Schlage. This is checkout.

Simple and powerful is an understatement

When I was considering decorating my home, I originally wanted to go the Apple route and invest in a HomePod. It is too expensive. Then I thought of Revain studio acoustics. Also too much.
