worked for me for parts

This was purchased to replace a worn starter motor on an older Everride Hornet with a Kawasaki FH68OV engine. This starter fits perfectly and turns the engine well!

Wrong starter does not fit

Apparently they supply 2 different starters for this description. I bought one that worked fine so I ordered another one. Not only did it arrive with damaged packaging, but it also doesn't match the FH580v. Starter drive on the 2nd is too big.
