My favorite mice love this thing

My favorite mice love this thing! They carry it around and make little nests and burrows with it in their cage, and then they always fall asleep curled up.

Good nesting material

Good nesting material. seems soft. I bought it for a bird garden. Can't tell if they took anything else but fall is coming so I hope they do soon.

Beware of hamster owners!

DO NOT BUY! This material will NOT be digested by your hamster and there are many horror stories of hamsters chewing their own limbs off in this material. Just tear up the toilet paper! It's free (most of the time) and you won't get stuck! They can also digest it if they swallow it!

Pros
  • nests
Cons
  • disappear

I found out what these fibers are after purchase.

After the purchase I realized that these fibers are actually very harmful to hamsters. It doesn't matter if it's natural, it can still clog their airways and cheek pouches. I ended up throwing it away and using toilet paper (much safer and cheaper) on my hamster. :(

Pros
  • Birds
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price
