Impressive shoes. Much better than previous relatives I've tried

We had about 20 pairs of Keen shoes for our kids when they were growing up. The only thing that hasn't changed is the durability and quality. They have always been well made and last forever. They used to be heavier. Surprisingly, I've always believed that weight is worth durability. Now they changed the materials and their shoes are much lighter. They did it without losing strength. Durability depends on the material as well as the design and construction of the shoe. The rubber outsole flexes

Pros
  • Sturdy construction withstands heavy use
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with flat feet

Great for wide feet!

My son has wide feet and it's great! They are easy to put on and take off. They are comfortable and stay on your feet when you run. I liked them so much I ended up buying a black pair too!

Pros
  • My son loves these shoes...great quality and looks like they will stand up to rough play. The rubber edging at the top is amazing.
Cons
  • Bulky and heavy

Comfortable sturdy shoes

I love that they have a wider toe box for my little one. He can put them on and off himself and doesn't complain about the shoes he has like many others we've tried before. Ideal for children with wide feet. They also fit my daughter who has narrower feet.

Pros
  • Provides excellent arch support for growing feet.
Cons
  • Limited flexibility in adjusting straps for a growing foot

Sturdy shoe and great fit

KEEN unisex kids knotch shoes are very durable shoes. My little one plays great in them and they fit her very well. They are easy to wash, easy to wipe. They also go in and out well.

Pros
  • Provides support for growing feet.
Cons
  • creaking when walking

Took 2 months… the best in my rating

I mean my son lasted 2 months longer than the less expensive shoes but for the price I was hoping they would last at least 3 months. The rest of the shoe is fine so it could be a defect as it was a small split at first and then turned into a hole within a week. I will try shoe lubes and hope they can continue. Update: shoe lube failed but my son really likes these shoes so I decided to buy another pair and see what happens. crossed fingers

Pros
  • Easy to care for and maintain
Cons
  • Insufficient debris protection

my best opinion

My 4 year old has been wearing them every day for a few months. He wears them all day to kindergarten and plays outside. It has a high instep and is one of the few shoes we've found that doesn't chafe at the toe. The shoes hardly wear out and look great on any terrain! I love these shoes and will be back for the next size up!

Pros
  • Designed with child safety in mind
Cons
  • No option for extra wide

A hole in the sole is good for me

I had to get up to my full height. I liked the style and the protection of the fingers. In just a few months, a huge hole formed in the sole. The shoe size is still comfortable so my child has not worn them long enough to outgrow them. I mean seriously, what material is this sole made of so quickly worn out.

Pros
  • Provides excellent grip on wet and slippery surfaces
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with heel spurs

great new review

They are perfect for my four year old. He has no complaints about them, they feel great and look great. He officially has the coolest shoes in the house and apparently they make him tower above everyone else. He is in love with them and I love the quality of KEEN shoes. All of our other KEENs have lasted at least a year with our children and I hope they will too. Note: we were outside the other day and it was pretty cold; All my kids have complained about their cold feet except for a 4 year old

Pros
  • Padded insole offers maximum comfort and support
Cons
  • Poor value for money

Constant feedback from me

These are great waterproof shoes. My son wore them everywhere and got them dirty, climbed rocks and even dragged his toes while riding his scooter. These are still holding up great. The Velcro doesn't always stay closed, but that doesn't bother him.

Pros
  • Dries quickly to prevent odor and bacteria.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with high arches

I wish Keane had half sizes, or we knew one size up or down. Pointed shoes used to be a bit big, but now they run a little smaller. My grandson loves the breathable low-rise sneakers. I would say for this shoe if your child is a half size go up a size.

Pros
  • Provides stability during active gameplay.
Cons
  • Restricted use for water sports.

Broke after a month the best in my rating

Easy to put on and take off. The sole is hard as rock but my son didn't complain. The strings broke within a month due to normal school activities (no hiking or other activities). It's not worth it

Pros
  • Ideal for families who love summer vacations
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with metatarsalgia

No sandals! in my opinion

Judging by the photo, these are real shoes. I don't know why they are called water boots or sandals. Looks, feels and fits like regular shoes. Anyway, my daughter and I think these "shoes" are too cute. Especially personally. She says they are very comfortable and we found they were true to size. The upper is very thick and durable. It feels like it will take time for her to outgrow them. The outsole is flexible and the bottom has good grip. I also appreciate that the floor is light weight so…

Pros
  • Suitable for a variety of outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poor quality seam

Not exactly the best sandals in my review

Not really sure why these shoes are called sandals. Because it's basically a running shoe, albeit a very flexible one. Keen's quality is impeccable as always. This shoe is comfortable, lightweight, well made and durable. Nothing to complain about. 12/19/2021

Pros
  • The waterproof design allows children to wear them in the water.
Cons
  • Poor breathability

Less than expected

I love pointy shoes but I bought them for my 6 year old grandson and they were too small. I don't know, maybe that's how they were made!

Pros
  • Available in multiple sizes for growing feet
Cons
  • The bulky design makes it difficult to pack things when traveling

Fell apart - my new review

Fell apart almost immediately. We bought a lot of shoes and I admit this is the first time, but one sole almost completely came off in a couple of weeks. We had to glue the gorilla back together.

Pros
  • High-quality processing guarantees a long service life
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with plantar fasciitis

Well done final review

These are the cutest shoes well made. Of course, but I've never bought one that small. Size 4 for my grandson and they fit as good and comfortable as he says. Lots of room to grow too

Pros
  • Offers the perfect balance of comfort and support
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with bursitis

Perfect for kids in my opinion

These shoes look very cool, don't get dirty, are very light and won't break! The Velcro is the only thing I've had trouble with before as they come off the shoes. But they were so good I bought a new pair.

Pros
  • Muy cómodo y polite
Cons
  • The rubber outsole peeled off and completely detached from the toe of the shoe a week after my son wore it.

Very upset - my new review

3 stars because my son loves these shoes and wanted them forever - otherwise it would have been 1 star. The top part was peeling off from 2 weeks - 1 month the sides started to peel off. 3 months for this review. My son LOVES them! Fits perfectly - very easy to put on and take off. Durability/durability is very very bad! Too bad they only lasted as Wal-Mart shoes :(

Pros
  • Suitable for both boys and girls
Cons
  • Not durable enough for everyday use

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good shoes but not for long.

I buy Keen shoes for my 4 year old because of their durability. Shoes usually last about a year, but these only last a few months. The velcro started to tear and fall apart. It could only be once because I've had very good experiences with the last 3-4 pairs I've bought.

Pros
  • Offers a modern take on classic streetwear.
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with peripheral neuropathy
