Super warm coat for Chihuahua

I just wanted to start by saying, this coat for Jose is perfect! I have a 9lb. Chihuahua and was sort of unsure what size to get Jose. I ended up getting the medium which was clearly a little big on him and if he was to pee with this coat on it would most likely get wet because the belly section was to close. So i ended up buying the small and sending the Medium back in hopes that the small would do the trick. It did, it fits him perfectly with or without a dog harness underneath. Jose is in…

Well Designed Coat in my review

I have a 15lb dog with sensitive skin so we got him this coat to protect him during bad weather. The coat is well designed and durable. Love the reversible feature bc we need a bright color at night for safety. Plus my dog doesn't mind getting into the coat which the velcro on both sides helps with ease of putting it on him quickly.

sizing chart is off

I do like the quality of the little jacket but their sizing chart is bonkers! Our bichon has a chest measurement of 18 so I bought the small (chest 17.5-22.5 or something like that) - thinking we would have plenty of room. Nope! I can barely get the velcro attached and it pulls terribly across her belly. I was going to exchange it for a larger size but did not trust that I could guess the correct size. Plus I had thrown the packaging away and felt it was just too much of a hassle.

Pups look great! Really nice quality. Sizing is weird but quality is pretty decent

The small with up to 22-in in chest is too tight for my 15-lb shihpoo with a harness on. The fabric is decent and overall quality is not bad at all. Exchanged for the next larger size. It fits better but my dog doesn’t like it and get mad when we tried to put it on it. We gave up and returned :(

I was disappointed with the water resistance

The overall fit was OK, loose in the collar, just right along the ribs. Since it was just right on the ribs, the coat is NOT reversible because of the way the velcro is located. Also, if you have a male dog, it may get wet on the underside.

The only downside is your pooch will want to stay outside longer--owner should dress accordingly

We picked this up for our 7 month old puppy (approximately 12 lbs soaking wet) to keep him warm during those forays into the cold we experience in the Great North. The coat appears to act as a great barrier against cold winds and he stays plenty warm. So much so that he now wants to spend a lot more time out during our "short" bathroom runs that can go on for 10 minutes or more due to his increased warmth. Warm and cute. in my review

My shih tzu is deaf and blind, so I love the easy off and on of this jacket. He is 14 pounds and it fits great. Thanks for attention.

The coat is very nice and made well

I have to return the coat because it is too small and confining for my Shih Tzu. I usually bought her a small but with this coat since it is thicker it is too small when I put it over her harness. Maybe if you use just a collar it would be okay but I suggest sizing up.
