Perfect Addition to My Car Electronics

This is a fantastic addition to my car electronics setup. The sound quality is top notch, and it's incredibly easy to navigate. Plus, the installation process was a breeze. However, I wish it came with more detailed instructions. Overall, definitely worth the investment.

Pros
  • Easy to program and use
Cons
  • Requires knowledge of programming to fully utilize

The cable worked. The software doesn't.

The cable works. The software doesn't. The disk contained software for radio stations of various brands. Yaesu and Vertex were not among them. Had to buy software elsewhere.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Silence

Out of Service: Portable AV

Communication cable failed to connect to either FTL-2011/99 or FTL-7011/99. Spent several hours troubleshooting with no success. I had to go back to using an old Win98 laptop with a real serial port. :(

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket
