🌊 Kenmore Softening Equipment Manufacturer Review

Direct replacement for Kenmore UltraSoft 425 Ref 7223015. There was a problem with the softener running constantly in regeneration mode. I opened the lid and saw that the part was cracked. Bought this part as a replacement as it was listed as a new replacement part on the Kenmore website. It's cheaper here. Replaced in 5 minutes and the fabric softener works again.

I woke up to a loud clicking sound from my water softener and found that my Kenmore Ultrasoft 400's old motor had damaged the plastic casing. I found this part at Revain for about half the price of Sears. It arrived quickly and only took a few minutes to exchange. Will update if this breaks prematurely but works great so far.

The original motor lasted 12 years and only failed because the plastic housing fell apart. A new replacement engine is made in the same way, but inspection found the defective part to be the weakest link. There have been a number of errors on our Kenmore Water Softener LCD Display. It would randomly stop in the middle of a reload and show various error codes. When the engine started, we noticed it sounded a bit odd, like it was straining. The output voltage of the mains transformer and all electrical connections have been checked.
