Feels good but too soft/flat for my personal taste.

Because there aren't many reviews comparing it to the 3M version. Here it is: Softer than the 3M version (this was too soft for my liking), but firmer than the foam pad. Flatter than the 3M version, which might work better for most people, but if you're using a tall/vertical mouse , use 3M. Also flatter than most IME foam pads. - Not as wide/long as the 3M version, I prefer a wider width so I don't have to change the position of the pad when moving my wrist from left to right to use multiple…

Excellent except for the bottom

Kensington is always good. I've been using it for over two decades now. I found this wrist rest to be the best choice for my Apple Magic Keyboard. And that's probably true. My complaint is the underside. This is assuming you want it in a permanent place on your desk, so the underside is sticky. However, if you don't want to leave it, the white backing is too slippery. I would MUCH prefer the textured rubber base which helps it stay in place than this one. Also, it's really, really black. If you

Perfect for mice that are too big, quality material

I use this with a Logitech MX Master 3, a very large mouse and this wrist rest solved the ergonomics problem that my hand could previously sit on a mouse that I use the I could hardly reach the buttons and the scroll wheel because I have small hands. The material feels very high quality, it feels like a gel inside and the coating is plastic but feels very good. I prefer this material over many other palm rests that use foam as the main grip when it falls apart. The base of this palm rest is…

Elegant look and feel of the palm rest

I have the slim version and it looks and feels good. It has a classy executive look and my wrists glide over it easily, which is surprising as it's made out of a vinyl rubber type texture. It has a leather grain that actually looks like faux leather. It looks like it will be very easy to clean if dirt and oil get on it. That being said, I have 3 caveats: 1) It needs to be about 1cm wider to fully cover a standard 1012 keyboard.) I'd like the pad to be the same size all the way to the end for…

I wanted a softer pillow and got it.

Harder pads hurt your hand. For work I bought a large Kensington keyboard and mouse pad which I really like and have had for many years. His long pillow is even softer than this one. It's not a gel like this. I bought this to replace a Brila mouse pad I bought and didn't like it. It was irregular in shape and too hard for me; I had pain in my arm and wrist. This one has a gentler slope from top to bottom, is wider and longer and also softer. This works well for me given the space I have at…

Comfortable wrist rest for large laptops.

I bought this to use with my new 17 inch MSI gaming laptop. My wrist hurt a lot since the laptop is quite tall. It is large enough to avoid wrist strain. It's comfortable and not too stiff, but strong enough to support my wrists. It's long enough to hold the full length of my laptop without being too long. The curved shape puts extra padding on the left side, where I use it most for the WASD keys, but also gives me padding on the right side when I'm typing, and I need it there too. It has a…
