Great solder: soldering and soldering supplies

Delivered on time and in perfect condition. This solder flows well and quickly. Leaves a hard, shiny seam. No more cold solder joints like with cheaper solder.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Out of style

Kester is always a good choice

There are cheaper solders with matching specs for a few bucks less but this brand has been around for a long time and consistently exceeds my expectations.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Reliability

Lot of excellent quality!

Easy to pour into wires and circuit boards, this solder makes a great addition to any hobby electronics toolbox. Highly recommended for anyone involved in soldering electronics!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Working speed

This is Kester on Solder

Great solder, lives up to manufacturer's reputation. Just one important point: make sure you have the right iron for the job, with the right temperature control. For my application I use 350C for this solder

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The best solder you can buy

I have been using Kester Sauter for over 50 years I gave up because of the price but no other product works as well as this company's solder. Yes it is expensive but worth it in the end.

Pros
  • Solder
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

This is real stuff. Worth the investment.

I have been using Kester solder since the 1970's. Cheap solders seem to have more smoke and don't flow. It may be my imagination, but I think the Kester is worth the money.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Works great, no complaints.

This is a quality solder. I use it for various electronics around the house but mainly for my quadrocopter hobby. The price-performance ratio is also very good. Next time I need solder again I will definitely buy this brand.

Pros
  • Solder and Flux
Cons
  • Available in white only
