PH meter works great. TDS meter not working. When trying to get 600ppm in my hydr system I went from 250. I added more nutrients to 450. I added even more nutrients. to 004. Can't be right and now I have to buy another gauge before I can do anything.

I read the instructions and tested the solution which should be around 5-6 ph. The meter showed 3.5 Ph. I tried to calibrate the meter with powder/solution. The first solution 6.8 is well calibrated. The second solution 4.1 is calibrated to 0.3. After trying to calibrate the meter several times and getting the same results, I threw the pH meter in the trash and bought some paper strips for my pH range. Problem solved. The TDS meter works well.

I've been using them for a week now and they are very accurate and fast. Huge savings compared to popular brand gauges like Bluelab, but less durable. If you are confident with your tools this is a great buy. I will never buy anything else again. I tested it on calibrated gauges when I first got it and it was dead so I saved the calibrant solution. Didn't need to calibrate as mine came out just perfect, seems to come out of the box. Tested with a known volume of water for PH and TDS. I've been using it in aquarium water for about a month now and so far both have worked with no problems. The PH is always between 7.1 and 7.25, which is consistent with where he used the API test kit or test strips. TDS rises slowly for a week until water change, then falls slightly and repeats. definitely worth the money.

I bought this for a cheap pH meter but I tested the free TDS meter that came with it before calibrating. Luckily I had an old reliable HM Digital TDS-EZ meter to compare to this one. Accuracy seems good but had to buy separate PH test solutions. The PH tester was missing one of the solution packs and was OBVIOUSLY returned by another customer. Water was present upon arrival at the PH test block. The TDS meter had no calibration or test solutions. This is a problem with Revain products these days.
