I can fill my 16oz mug twice and the leftover coffee stays hot for a couple of hours! (If you haven't finished by then, you probably don't need a carafe!) I use a reusable filter, not capsules.

I bought this coffee maker thinking I could use it in the K-Duo coffee maker, it's too big. this decanter. This is good and keeps the coffee warm, it's just awkward to do it that way.

I like it, but when I brew a full cup, the coffee doesn't stay hot the whole time I drink it (more than one few hours). Luckily the pot is metal so I just put it on the stove over low heat. BUT the reason I ordered a new pot was because on a particularly rough morning (before I had my coffee) I accidentally set my original pot on high heat and melted the handle and broke the whole column! Oops.

Very nice carafe. If you're planning on ordering this to replace the glass carafe that comes with your Keurig Duo and Single Cup coffee maker, stop now! This carafe does not fit under the drip tray of the Duo coffee pot. He is too big. Looks like Keurig is the only place you can get a glass carafe replacement. I sent it back and hopefully this information will help anyone looking to replace the glass carafe. If you're just ordering to keep the coffee hot, it's very well made and strong.

Replaced the Keurig unit. While I can't refer to the single cup side of the machine as it was rarely used (I bought a double machine to give non-coffee drinkers the option to have other drinks). The carafe cracked for no reason after 2 or 3 months of use, after researching we found that the carafe of this model can fail without warning after a very short period of use and poses a risk of breakage when filling.
