This is a tank robot car kit that is Arduino compatible and Mixly (block programming platform) compatible made specifically for anyone with kids or students studying electrical engineering. You will need a computer to code it and two 18650 batteries. With a detailed tutorial for assembling it, this STEM educational kit teaches programming and robotics to you with ease. Includes a control board, an ultrasonic module, an infrared receiver module, an 8*16 LED panel and a Bluetooth module, etc. All these parts are named and well organized in a box. It can automatically drive; detect, avoid and follow obstacles; follow the lights; use 8X16 LED panel to display the movement status. You can also use infrared remote control and bluetooth APP to control it (supports iOS and Android). Four cartoon animal heads have been added to the kit so that you can install them on the ultrasound module, making the whole experiment more interesting. The first version is much better v2 different story The rails are long Install the screw to fix the caterpillar to the engine so that the thin is not installed on the engine. Just starting to build. Will be updated

Wow, great set at a reasonable price!

I'm an established techie who likes to get to the inside of things, which means I usually void warranties. I was very impressed. The kit was very organized when I opened the box, ALL the small parts are labeled. Keyestudio have produced a number of great videos that you can watch on YouTube that complement the PDF guides very well. When you first open the box you will see a bill of materials with QR links to all the resources you will need and there is a CD with all the PDF manuals, Arduinoโ€ฆ

Fun Robot Project: Single Board Computer

I worked with my 12 year old son to build a robot. This is an interesting project with many options. Everything went well. The only problem we had was that I didn't have a good wrench so I had to use several small sockets - they had a hard time getting where I needed them. I was able to hold the nut with needle nose pliers to tighten the bolt - it worked. I ended up buying good mini keys and it helped a lot. I recommend investing in a few if you're doing small nut projects like this one. Theโ€ฆ

My first tracked robot

I teach STEM (and recently robotics). I'm always looking for something fun and different for my students. This time we decided to build a tracked robot and it was a very interesting experience. Let's start by saying that the box is heavy. There's a lot in this little box. I buy a lot of products from Keyestudio because I really like the look of the boards, everything is very good quality and with great instructions. This one didn't disappoint. Good price but missing parts

Documentation shows 8 4mm nuts are included but instructions show 10 nuts are required to use 2*2 and 4*4. Also, a few racks are missing which is preventing me from completing the build. Overall I'm impressed with the presentation and will try to get the missing parts at my local hardware store.

Not for the faint hearted!

If you like a challenge, this is it. My son wanted to build a robot for his school's science fair this year and now that he's 10 and loves to build we thought it would be awesome. We only opened the box to find out you have to go online to get directions because if it were in print you'd only need a box for a book on how to do it. Based on the listing we thought it would be a good first build if you put it together and use the remote to control it. NO, it's not that simple. You build a smallโ€ฆ
