First try. (You will need a regulator)

These key fobs worked perfectly for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Bought a releaner and managed to complete the whole process in less than 2 minutes. Best $30 I've ever spent. Years have passed without these things.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • no power

Doesn't work on the 2011 Elantra Touring.

I've tried programming this repeatedly on my 2011 Elantra Touring. It didn't work - even after I took it to the dealer for programming (an additional $95 non-refundable fee).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some errors

Works at a good price

My daughter bought a 2014 Hyundai Elantra, no key fobs included. It was a lot cheaper than a dealer replacement and works well. Easy setup by following the included instructions.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

Works great!: Remote Starter

I bought this in addition to the programmer/remote key set which I bought separately. I was able to easily program this remote and the other remote that came with the programmer (within minutes). Would buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Fits

FALSE ADVERTISING, DO NOT BUY! product claims.

FALSE ADVERTISED, DO NOT BUY! The product is said to come with instructions so you can program it yourself, but it actually requires a locksmith with special equipment that will cost you another $150.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Clarity

Garbage - didn't work

Didn't work on Hyundai Elantra 2013 and the "programming" they send you is literally a piece of paper to go to the website and if you need information enter it says "no hits". Then you can look for a locksmith in your STATE, not in a city but in a state that you can refer to for programming. Too bad I'm sending it back.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Upgradable

Needs to be programmed by a locksmith πŸ˜•

They arrived quickly and I followed the programming instructions that came with them but they didn't work. I went to the seller's website and asked for help. The key fobs for my car have to be programmed by a locksmith so that was a waste of money. (Hyundai Elantra 2013)

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Null

Great job.: Anti-Theft

Key fob works great. Very easy to program. When I bought the car, I only had one key. There is no remote control. The board must be. I bought two keychains and one blank key. I just had to program both remotes. Very easy. And get the key from Ace Hardware. I saved myself about $500. Very happy. I also bought a silicone case for the remote control. A must have to protect your remote controls.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
