Everything works fine, the only problem is that the instructions for changing the lock codes are not clear. So the door is stuck at lock code 1234#. I've googled and searched on YouTube but NO LUCK.

It took me a minute to install because I had to find someone who could do it. It was in the box, not opened until we started installing it. During installation we found that parts were missing: a pair of screws for the inside; and a fork that goes at the end. And the two screws that came with it don't fit! I will never buy anything from this company again!

On the first order a long screw head broke which was difficult to work with. Revain sent a replacement for the whole case. It was pretty easy to install and install the code. I'm not sure why some people are having trouble installing the code. I started from scratch because locking the battery compartments with a screw is not a good idea as unscrewing and screwing will surely strip the threads.

Goods received but no instructions provided on how to assemble the lock, very disappointed. There are so many elements in this lock and all I have manual is how to create new codes for the lock. I am very disappointed that my manual was not in my package and I have no way of contacting the seller. I called Amazon, they didn't even have the seller's details to contact the buyer. I am extremely disappointed.

Some other reviewers pointed out that the instructions weren't very good, so I took that into account when installing the lock. If you've already installed a traditional door lock, you should be able to install it using common sense. BUT pay attention to the bold printed points in the manual. Installation took about 30 minutes, following the instructions strictly. Haven't had a full day yet, but it seems easy to use and pretty solid.

I was a bit concerned because so many people have written about the complexity of programming, but no problem here. I followed the simple graphical instructions and was able to change the master code the first time. SCAYN may have updated the instructions, but it was easy. Installation was fairly easy and the instructions were clear enough to get the job done. Programming was easy, flow charts guide you through the steps. There's no tactile feel from the buttons, although the lock emits a "beep" when a button is pressed. The blue backlight is bad. First I wanted to say that this lock is very well made and works great. However, I'm by no means a professional builder or genius, so it took me a while to study the instructions. I only noticed it when I was programming it. Finally my problem is solved and this lock deserves more than 5 stars. How I wish everyone else who wrote negative reviews would contact the seller and fix things.
