Need a service key for the program

I had to go back because nobody could program. Not sure if they would work or not. Someone has to enter this market and offer programs at a reasonable price. It's impossible to buy a $3,000 used car and spend $500 making keys. Not proportional.

I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on third party FOBs after reading many reviews that other buyers didn't like. These FOBs are intended to replace the 2009 Nissan Altima. lost OEM FOB. There is no self-programming for the 2009 Altima, so you will need an auto mechanic or dealer to program and cut the keys. The interesting thing is that the dealer was actually cheaper than all the locksmiths I contacted in the area. The locksmiths gave me vague answers about how much it would cost…

Installation requires special equipment or a locksmith.

This will save you a lot of money although you will need special equipment or a locksmith to install it. Shipping was fast and specifying the type of key that works with my car is accurate and very important. I recommend keyless to go.

Not for programmers

Key fob can be programmed on Nissan but requires a scanner that can access the security system to remove keys and add a new key. Without the right tool, the key fob cannot be programmed. The case looks cheap compared to the original key fob, but costs many times less than the original part.

So far so good - great price!

For peace of mind I went to a local locksmith who programs car keys. The cost was $65 which is a lot less than the dealer and the locksmith did as much as I needed for that price. I bought two. For two dollars for each additional fee, he carved physical keys that work from the glove box and door in case the batteries die. I bought similar Revain key fobs for the Acura we found so I'm hoping they will fit our Nissan.

Get help researching your vehicle if you need it, order the right part and you'll be fine.

I bought this in September 2018 after accidentally hitting the buttons with a lawnmower. The dealers wanted me to buy one for $200 and they programmed it for $155. I researched my 2012 Altima knob (Nissan & Infiniti KR55WK48903 KR55WK49622), made this purchase for $39.95 (2 fobs) and had the locksmith program both for $90.00. They work great. I only got $129.95 for two keychains compared to $355.00 for a retail key. I am completely satisfied!
